Share keyboard and mouse between multiple Windows, Linux, and Mac computers with or without a KVM switch

Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems, each with its own display, (and here’s the key part) without special hardware. It’s intended for users with multiple computers and monitors on their desk. Run synergys (the server daemon) pointing to your configuration file on one computer. You can run it as your regular desktop user too Then run the synergyc (client daemon) on the other computer and give it the ip address of the server computer.

Ghost balaclava from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Take a quick look on ebay and you’ll find plenty of results for Ghost’s balaclava. One of them even includes a cheesy hooded jacket and knee pads for a ridiculous price, but I see nothing that even comes close to the detail and quality of KChanko’s gear.

If the image doesn’t look like the original vangogh you based it on, try adding scale so it can use more images or shrink the tiles.

Remove borders from image using ImageMagick convert

The easiest way to crop a border from an image is to rotate the image as you chop. It’s pretty much the same way you would cut a border from a piece of paper using a pair of scissors unless you were ambidextrous and even then wouldn’t it be faster to just rotate the picture rather than changing scissor hands.

Our research informs us that in all probability, we offer the most versatile coating in the world.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 will have dedicated servers

There it is, simple math: BFBC2 > MW2. The only part that worries me is the whole rental-agreement for a dedicated server. Hopefully the mod community will come out in full force after the MW2 debacle. I’d like to host my own private server and have it show up on the public list of private servers. If I have to rely on a 3rd party to host my server, I have no doubt that whatever hacks come out for the game will work on my server. At least I’ll be able to kick hackers and insta-ban them, well, one can only hope.
