After waiting 4 hours for the updates to download, I try to log in and i’m queue’d around #4000.

I check back 5 minutes later and it’s still around 3,700. I get bored/distracted and come back an hour later to find I’ve been logged out. So I queue the login again later in the night and get in much quicker. (after only 15 minutes!)

So with just a few minutes to play the game and get a feel for it, I jump right in to create a character. I ended up choosing to be a Villian. After some customization of clothing and colors, i’m in.

I didnt know anything about how DC Universe played, but I was expecting a standard MMORPG recipe like Champions Online, but it doesn’t feel like that at all! Instead, i’m presented with more of an action game.

So after many hours of downloading updates and some time with the character customization, I’m not really sure about the game play because of my extremely limited time to play!

All I can say so far is the opening movie is excellent.
