Get longer email addresses using mailinator

If you just go to http://www.mailinator.com and type in an address so you can check its mailbox, you’ll notice there’s a limit on the number of characters you can use. I like using this service to vent my frustration with stupid services that require hoop jumping. You can check a mailbox of a longer length if you specify it in the URL itself.

If you were to check the mailbox “your-game-is-starting-to-suck” you’ll notice it won’t let you type the whole thing. But using the url “http://www.mailinator.com/maildir.jsp?email=your-game-is-starting-to-suck-with-all-these-signups&x=0&y=0
“, you can get to the mailbox. Most people won’t even think to rewrite the url. You’re more likely to get a clean inbox this way.

woo, random.
