Google’s playable Pacman videogame without Flash

Pac-man’s 30th Anniversary

Today, the logo on Google’s homepage changed to their first interactive doodle - a playable game of Pac-man, and you don’t even need flash to play it. Yet another nail in the flash coffin?

Where the I’m Feeling Lucky button used to be is an Insert Coin button in its place. Click it and compared to flash based apps, the game loads instantly.

Who needs an app store?

If you haven’t ditched the iphone for one of the many android phones, I feel sorry for you, however, you can now play pacman from just a webpage on your iphone and that’s pretty cool.

Mrs. Pacman

Hit “Insert Coin” again and you can play as Mrs. Pac-man with the WASD keys while player 1 can still play as Pac-Man using the arrow keys!
