Has 3D Gaming has finally arrived for the mass market?! (and since everyone else is saying it…) in the current economic climate? I know this isn’t new technology, but it’s always been pricey with bulky wired glasses until recently. This will be great when the price comes down and the features go up. Well anyway, without further ado:
Presenting the NVIDIA 3D Vision Bundle:
Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ 22″ 3D Gaming LCD Monitor
NVIDIA 3D Vision Stereoscopic Glasses
“…NVIDIA introduces active 3D vision and brings your games to life in immersive 3D. We’ve combined the NVIDIA 3D Glasses with a World Class 120Hz Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ 22″ 3D Gaming LCD Monitor to provide you with instant, Out-Of-The-Box immersive 3D PC Gaming! Everything you need to turn your existing GeForce 8800 or higher gaming graphics card PC into a true state-of-the-art 3D gaming system!”
“For gamers, 3D Vision for GeForce represents a whole different way of experiencing the game, and for developers, it unlocks the potential of making the game literally pop off the screen! From games to movies to photography, 3D Vision delivers a truly immersive awesome 3D experience.”
It’s a shame they handicap it right out of the box to siphon off the gotta-have-it-now impluse buyers. I’ll wait until it’s 24″, 140Hz, with multiple glasses, and capable of 1920×1080 so I can watch 1080 HD movies on it too. And why doesn’t it include any games? They throw in random FPS games when you buy their video cards, so why not here too?
Ahhh, when they finally get around to giving up the goods in the future, it will look great sitting right in between the two 24″ dells I got last month!!! But how will I fit all that visual real estate all on one desk!?
