Tactics for winning in Battlefield 3 multiplayer using the different classes, loadouts, and vehicles. My short experience with this game so far has already proven that not much has changed in the Battlefield series. If you’ve played one, you’ve played them all. The graphics are better this time around, but other than that, it’s should prove to be your typical battlefield experience.
The structure for graphics drivers changed completely from Windows XP To Vista. So forget your video card. You might have the latest and greatest money pit of a video card, but it still won’t run Battlefield 3.
Also, the studio that made Homefront is the same company that made Frontlines: Fuel of War. That game was pretty fun, but seemed incomplete and had control issues, I remember.
Here’s hoping they tweaked and tightened.
Does Treyarch just lack what’s required to do justice to the Call of Duty title. Treyarch has a knack for riding the coattails of Infinity Ward, screwing everything else up. World at War was a step backward from Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty 3 was just a complete bomb. After the massive blunders in the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 of an otherwise stellar release, perhaps the door is wide open for true fps perfection.
The Battlefield Bad Company 2 servers were offline while the patches were implemented. Numerous multiplayer issues were addressed along with a few single player campaign not worth mentioning. While their servers were down, EA was directing everyone to check a twitter feed for the latest news.
I hate age the Month, Day, Year age verification on websites. Some kid is going to see that and enter their real age? Seriously? That’s more of an IQ check. And for you guys collecting the stats on how many people you turn away, you might want to think about how many people may have accidentally mistyped the year. Congratulations, you just turned away another customer.
MyInternetServices.com is having a Battlefield Bad Company 2 contest this month during the Beta release. It started on February 9th and ends the day the beta expires. Each week, they will give a prize to the beta player that accumulates the most dog tags. In game, you receive a dog tag for each knife kill you perform. Each week they will be giving away $250 in prize money.
The beta is out right now. You’re stuck with one game type and one map right now, but it’s a big map and, wait for it, the server browser is included. There are hundreds of servers up right now from all over the world. BFBC2 is, without a doubt, 10x better than Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
There it is, simple math: BFBC2 > MW2. The only part that worries me is the whole rental-agreement for a dedicated server. Hopefully the mod community will come out in full force after the MW2 debacle. I’d like to host my own private server and have it show up on the public list of private servers. If I have to rely on a 3rd party to host my server, I have no doubt that whatever hacks come out for the game will work on my server. At least I’ll be able to kick hackers and insta-ban them, well, one can only hope.
