You’ve added a whole directory to get checked into subversion, and then realized you forgot to remove the binaries, or perhaps you had some hidden files, .nfs0001 or thumbs.db or something else you just don’t want to commit. There’s two ways to undo this situation.

Easy, just go into the database and delete the row from mwuser, right? wrong. If you’re using phpPgAdmin pgadmin3 or some other tool, you should get a nice message letting you know exactly which constraint would be violated if it actually let you do that dave. In my case, I had a user that had updated a few pages, so I just needed to change the revision table so that he wasn’t referenced anymore.
I got a good laugh out of this… I think I know a much simpler method, ok not the greatest, but still just as effective since you have no idea if they’ll keep storing your information long after they’ve ‘deleted’ your account. It’s streamlined so you can go through the same steps on most of the sites you have an account on. No need to click three times, or send an email with some exact string in the subject line while waiting for a reply and then confirming, after stating your reasons.
